Enioluwa Adeoluwa finds himself in the midst of a steep controversy. The influencer who goes by ‘Eni’ was caught up in a controversy this week and fond himself being accused of a criminal offence in Nigeria.
Nigeria has criminalised LGTBQ+ activities in its country. This legal actions was issued at the behest of Ex President Goodluck Jonathan, who during his tenure tried to combat what many conservatives deemed as an abberation.
Eni was accused of being gay. It is not the first time the TikTok Influencer has faced such accusation. He has faced these allegations for a long time due to his flamboyant way of dressing. For the longest time, Eni was known as the lipgloss boy. He came on the scene in 2020, with his catchy comments as he glossed up his lips.
His flamboyant nature and dressing seemed to blur the lines and many felt he might be playing for the other team. A s@x rape was even leaked showing gay s@x. However, although Eni was accused of being the one in the video, it turned out it was simply a look-like p0rnstar in America.
Now, the rumors resurface because of a trending video in which a crossdresser was brutally assaulted by neighbourhood boys because of his dressing, The crossdresser was hit by a plank by these men who took what they deemed as justice into their own hands.
The video has elicited different responses with some agreeing with the violence and others arguing against it. Eni happened to be in the camp of the latter.
The influencer wrote:
It is inhumane, it is unjust, and it is unkind to pick up a plank and hit another human because you do not agree with their choices or sexual orientation.
Leave people alone. Everyone deserves to live their life without the fear of violence or harassment and, most notably, ‘Physical Violence.’

By writing this, Eni inadvertently put a target on his back. many felt he was defending the crossdresser because he was a closeted homosexual.
