The National Executive Council and Central Working Committee of Theatre Arts & Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) have conferred Prince Babajide Kosoko with the Chairman, Board of Fellow of the Association.
The association said the veteran actor got the appointment because of his commitment as a leader of proven integrity.
The Worldwide President of the association, Otunba Bolaji Amusan described Prince Kosoko as honest, reliable, believable, visionary and conscientious with a strong moral compass.
Jide Kosoko Bags New Appointment
Jide Kosoko, who was born into the Royal family of Kosoko, studied Business Administration at Yaba College of Technology before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University where he studied Performing arts.
Prince Babajide Kosoko started his acting career as a child actor in 1964, and he has featured in so many films both in Yoruba, Ibo and English genre.
He bagged a National Merit Award for Arts & Culture by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1996, the first actor to receive AMAA Lifetime Achievement Award and has received more than 120 Awards both local and Internationally.
Also, TAMPAN appointed Antar Laniyan as the secretary to the Board.
