Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has candidly revealed that she is still on the lookout for a husband, despite her global success and influence in the music industry.
In a recent podcast interview that has gone viral on social media, the 45-year-old singer lamented her single status and admitted that her search for love might be hindered by her high standards.
“I’m still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have any partner. And I think it is because I’m asking for specific things. Maybe I need to narrow my spec down,” she confessed.
Savage went on to outline her ideal partner, describing him as young, wealthy, and free from “baby mama drama,” adding that she dreams of a man with a private jet. “I can’t deal with that [baby mama issues” she stated bluntly.
Tiwa Savage was previously married to her former manager, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz. The pair tied the knot in 2013 but divorced in 2018 after irreconcilable differences. Their union produced a son, Jamil.
