Beyonce supports #EndSARS Campaign
In light of the prolonged protests against police brutality and the recent killing of Nigerians at the Lekki tollgate yesterday, global music star, Beyonce Knowles has finally rendered her support to #EndSARs campaign.
The mother of three reacted to the massacre that occurred in Lagos yesterday saying that she is heartbroken and police brutality in Nigeria has to stop. The singer also said that she has been working with different coalitions and youth organization stocks ensure that the Nigerian populace is well taken care of in this time.
Her banner read,
“I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS.
We have been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change. We are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter. To our Nigerian sisters and brothers, we stand by you.
