Icons have taken to Twitter street to protest and protect their President, Laycon, after a Twitter User rained curses on him.
The trouble started when the 2020 BBNaija winner made a post about the recently played Europa League final match between Manchester United and Villarreal.
Laycon had earlier taken to Twitter to mock Man-U fans and the club fans’ meeting with a veteran coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, ahead of the match.
He simply tweeted, “Wisdom in the mud”. In another post, Laycon laughed at Man-U and the meeting held with their former coach.
The BBNaija winner said, “When you share football wisdom on a dining table, what do you expect?”
Responding to this post, a Twitter user @MIKassim1, who seems to be a Man-U fan, rained curses on him, saying.
“That’s why you’ll never succeed as a musician. That money big brother gave you will drain In Sha Allah”
With this response that the Twitter user later deleted, his fans decided to trend their president on other things to kill the growing trolling against him.
They took to Twitter street to trend his tour to Liberia in a somewhat intelligent way to defend their president.
As a result of this, Laycon is currently trending under sport on Twitter and many who do not know the background story are wondering why and how?
