Adeboye and Religious Gathering
Despite the easing of the ban placed on a religious gathering in the country by the Federal Government, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye said he, his wife and grandchildren will not be going to church just yet.
It would be recalled that the Federal Government had placed a ban on all gathering of more than 20 people due to the coronavirus pandemic that has ravaged the whole world, killing thousands of people.
According to Adeboye, he and his wife would not be able to join the service in his church just yet even when the parishes of his church in Nigeria would be opening next week.
He also added that his grandchildren would also not be joining the congressional gatherings in the church yet as well.
Abeboye said the reasons for this decision is that he and his wife are over 65 years of age while his grandchildren are under 15 years of age.
He, however, congratulated those who will be able to resume attending church services, saying they would be able to enjoy the power of congregational prayers.
Adeboye urged them to remember those who would not be able to go to church yet in prayers.
