History was made on Sunday as African Trio shared the Premiership Golden Boot Award. The Premier League Golden Boot is an annual association football award. Presented to the leading goal scorer in the Premier League. The current 2018/2019 premiership season just ended on a historic note. As three (3) Africans claimed the Golden Boot award. Two African players from Liverpool Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Mohamed Salah (Egypt) are joined on 22 goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon), the Arsenal star. Salah won the Golden Boot last season, with the Liverpool and Egyptian marksman scoring 32 goals to claim the Golden Boot award
