A fresh National Diploma graduate of the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), identified as Nonso has reportedly committed suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend.
According to a close friend of the deceased, Nonso had recently sent his girlfriend, one Miracle, to Dubai, but the lady later got married to another man.
Guardian Newspaper reported that another friend of Nonso explained that as they left the hostel for the home to celebrate Christmas last week, the deceased did not go with them.
The friend added that Nonso posted “Miracle Way” on his Whatapp status while he was in school, noting that some friends went back to his hostel and broke the door to his room where his decomposing body was found.
Student Commits Suicide In Ogun
The incident is coming a day after a young lady known as Ohirenua Giwa-Amu, committed suicide.
Ohirenua took her life after she had written an open letter to her father and popular pastor, Femi Giwa-Amu, whom she accused of repeatedly raping her when she was seven years old.
In the same vein, about a week ago, a 300-level student of the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Gbenga Favour committed suicide after he was defrauded to the tune of N300 million in a forex deal.
