Reports have it that some gunmen that raided communities in Kaduna State have left with no fewer than twenty-two inhabitants without any trace thus far.
Yesterday, they attacked Idon Town in Kujuru Local Government Area, LEA of the state, and also injured several other villagers that escaped with various degrees of injuries, luckily leaving their lives intact.
According to the report, the armed men raided the communities at about 12:30 a.m., as a resident, who confirmed the incident to journalists at the crime scene, narrated how the assailants trooped in their numbers and started shooting sporadically without any aim to negotiate.
Speaking further, the eyewitness (name withheld) added that they broke doors and windows while they injured at least four persons during the raid.

A Councillor in the Kajuru Local Government Area of the State, Bala Jonathan, revealed the names of persons kidnapped by the bandits and explained how troubling the situation made the remaining villagers feel, especially as the attacks are unpredictable.
However, as at the time of filing this report, the State Police Command are yet to give any statement regarding the latest developments on the issue.
