One had to on-daily-basis, delete emails to stay within the storage limit. There was in-fact no easy way to search your inbox or file messages. These led to the introduction of Gmail.

However, Gmail has marked enormous achievement down memory-lane. The include, launching of the first Android-powered smartphones. Evolving from being desktop-only to also work on your phone or tablet. Supports users to get more things done on the go.
Gmail also introduced tabbed inbox feature which was the first of its kind. Helping users organize messages by category, so you can see what’s new at a glance. Gmail via AI-powered features like Smart Reply and Nudges help users reply faster. And lastly make users stay on top of their to-dos among others.
And now, it has grown to a product that 1.5 billion users rely on to get things done every day. Gmail’s celebrated its 15 years birthday yesterday. And it was really remarkable with an announcement of some new features by the team. The Gmail team made known the introduction of a new and useful Gmail features. With improvements on Smart Compose, users can be able to schedule emails. And more.
In addition to this, Smart Compose is also coming to four new languages: Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Smart Compose is also getting, well, smarter. It will personalize suggestions for you. So if you prefer saying “how are u” or “how is work” in your greetings. Smart Compose will suggest just that. Its new feature is a relief because it can now suggest a subject line based on the content of your email.

Finally, in regards to Google positioning the newly introduced features as a digital wellness tool. Google’s director of Product Management Jacob Bank writes in yesterdays announcement. “We understand that work can often carry over to non-business hours. But it’s important to be considerate of everyone’s downtime. We want to make it easier to respect everyone’s digital well-being.
