Former England and Aston Villa midfielder Gabriel Agbonlahor have sent a warning to Manchester City’s coach about signing Tottenham and England forward Harry Kane.
Why Gabriel Agbonlahor Does Not Want City to Sign Harry Kane
According to Gabriel Agbonlahor, the England international’s pattern and style of play will match Manchester City kind of game. The player has drawn attention from many clubs across Europe because of his prolific scoring skills.
The player is most likely to the Tottenham Hotspur if they do not qualify for next season’s Uefa Champions League. Pep Guardiola is one of the coaches who have shown interest in the player, and the former Aston Villa player says the manager should think again if he wants to sign Harry Kane.
Agbonlahor said: “When you are the main man in your team, you can get away with it more, but I watch the game against Burnley. It was like watching a one-person Wembley.”
He also said Kane was trying to get a shot at any given scenario while Son was getting frustrated with all that. According to him, other players were also getting frustrated because he knows he can do it.
The former Aston Villa player said Man City kind of game is not a selfish one which is what Kane is doing, he said you must be making the right passes and not being selfish to player Pep, and Kane lacks that.
