Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello has frowned at a Twitter user for comparing her to another popular Nigerian actress, Genevive Nnaji.
The Twitter user, who put the photo of Akindele alongside Genevieve asked other Twitter users to settle the comparison by picking their favourite actress between the two with either like or a retweet.
Reacting to the post, Akindele wondered what the Twitter user meant by the comparison as she described Genevieve as a Senior colleague and great Actor with an emoji showing that she respect the actress and refused to be compared to her.
Meanwhile, some Twitter users who commented on Akindele’s reaction to the post commended her describing such action as a sign of humility and respect for Genevieve.
Funke Akindele Frowns At Fan
Another respondent noted that the post does not connote comparison noting that their fans must have a favourite between the two.
You will recall that Genevieve was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic in 2011 for her contribution to Nollywood.
