The government has released the students’ full names and teachers kidnapped by armed bandits from the Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State.
It would be recalled that some armed bandits were reported to have stormed the school at about 2:00 am on Wednesday, shooting sporadically and abducted some students and teachers.
After the incident, it was discovered that 27 students, 3 teachers, 2 non-teaching staff and 9 family members of the school workers were abducted.
The full names of the kidnapped students are Suleman Lawal, Abdullahi Adamu, Habakuk Augustine, Idris Mohammed, Musa Adamu, Abdulkarim Abdulrahman, Abubakar Danjumma, Abdullahi Abubakar, Bashir Kamalideen, Mohammed Salisu.
Full Names of Niger State Kidnapped Students
Jamilu Isah, Shem Joshua, Abbas Abdullahi, Isah Abdullahi, Ezekeil Danladi, Haliru Shuibu, Mamuda Suleman, Danzakar Dauda, Abdulsamad Sanusi, Bashir Abbas.
Yusuf M Kabir, Isah Abdullah Makusidi, Polineous Vicente, Lawal Bello, Mohammed K Shehu, Mubarak Sidi and Abdulsamad Nuhu.
Apart from the kidnapped students, a student identified as Benjamin Habila was killed by a bullet shot by the bandits that met him in the head.
The names of the teachers who were abducted during the attack are Hannatu Philip, Lawal Abdullahi and Dodo Fodio while the non-teaching staff are Mohammed Musa and Faiza Mohammed.
Also, the family members who were also recorded missing are Christiana Adama, Faith Adama, Maimuna Suleman, Nura Isah, Ahmad Isah, Khadizat Isah, Mohammed Mohammed, Aisha Isah and Saratu Isah.
