The #fuelscarcity trending on Twitter is currently being used to catch heavy cruises as it shows that Nigerians are already used to whatever form of hardship the Government throws at them.
As at the time of filing this report, numerous tweets and pictures flooded the micro-blogging platform, especially write-ups and images of what people feel about the stressful fuel scarcity condition the country is undergoing.
One of the most interesting posts features a plastic jerrycan loaded with petrol and a transparent container with the same commodity seated at the passenger’s position of the vehicle, with the caption, ‘rolling with my precious cargo.’
However, some posts suggested that the Nigerian Government should declare a sit-at-home work schedule for workers that have to travel the distance before getting to work.

The likes of James Alabaster IV with the handle @alabaster_iv, expressed himself, saying that “I feel the Government should declare sit at home pending when they sort out the scarcity, then essential workers will have the small fuel left. A sit at home will ease the tension.”
Also, Stephanie A., on a more serious note, posted through her handle @stefnyzil, asking the question that how can a country derive so much joy in CONSTANTLY making life unbearable for its citizens? #fuelscarcity.
Meanwhile, one Twitter user that took a picture with different versions of the Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, requested to know where such adulterated product got to the market.
Displaying the pictures, @pa_walz said the left in the Cway bottle is petrol. I don’t know what the one on the right is.
I don’t tweet much but this one got to me, just got fuel for my generator and I noticed the difference. This is nonsense. The problem now is I already bought the petrol in the car.
