Following the directives issued by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, the Federal Ministry of Education has released the first batch of merit-based admission into Unity colleges.
This is coming barely three days after the receipt of the results of the National Common Entrance Examination for admission into the country’s 110 unity Colleges.
It was gathered that Adamu gave the directive after receiving the results of the 2020/2021 National Common Entrance from the National Examinations Council, NECO, Professor Godswill Obioma.
Admission Into Unity Colleges
According to the Minister, principals are to complete both merit based which is 60% and 30% equality of states admission.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Education, Candidsates are advised to check the admission list which will be posted on the website of the Ministry on Monday, November 23rd.
The Ministry added that Admission letters will be available for collection at the Unity Colleges on November 24th.
