
The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister for Aviation, Hadi Sirika has announced the resumption of international flights in Nigeria.
In a tweet on Monday, August 17, the Minister, who disclosed that the International flight would resume operations from August 29 noted that
the operations will begin with Abuja and Lagos International airports.
According to the Minister, Protocols and procedures for the flight operations would be announced in due course.
Resumption Of International Flights
The tweet reads “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020. Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption. Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.

You will recall that the Minister had on July 26 announced the resumption of domestic flights in the country.
Announcing the resumption, Sirika listed fourteen airports that were open for full domestic operations adding that ministerial approvals in and out of them are not required.
