Big brother Naija Season 4 winner Mercy Eke has received backlash from fans over claims of lying to be poor during season 4 of the reality show.
This reaction came after the popular brand influencer disclosed she drove three cars before going on the show, and another fan added that she also built a house in her hometown, which she affirmed to.
In response to this, some fans reminded her of her statement while in the big brother house where she stated that her brothers did not attend university because of money.
Another fan also stated that she had claimed they were poor and had to sell fuel at a fuel station, questioning her if all the poverty stories were just for votes.
