Fani Kayode Reveals Reason For Attending Buhari’s Wedding

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, has reacted to how some internet users tongue-lashed him for hanging out with some politicians he had criticized in the past. He revealed his reason for attending the wedding ceremony of Yusuf Buhari, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari in Kano State.

Fani Kayode posted a series of pictures of himself and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, former President Goodluck Jonathan, and other dignitaries present at the wedding. He said Politics is about bridge-building regardless of differences.

According to the former Minister, politics is not war; one can be friends with their political adversary and still disagree. He added that such a character is called politics without bitterness and a sign of being civilized.

In one of the pictures he posted on Instagram, Fani Kayode noted that it was his pleasure to be a part of the wedding ceremony of Yusuf and Zahra Ado Bayero in Bichi, Kano. He opined that the crowd was earth-shaking, adding that the gathering was remarkable.
