Minister of State, Works and Housing, Mr Aliyu Abubakar, says the Federal Government will not relent to complete a particular project which is currently ongoing.
Abubakar said that the road is due for completion in the first quarter of 2023.
FG commits to completing Kaduna-Kano road project.
The minister spoke about the government’s commitment on Thursday to completing the 800km Kaduna-Kano road. At the same time, he inspected the Phase III of the project that stretches from Zaria to Kano. He insisted that this particular road is a priority of the President Buhari-led administration.
According to him, the President’s commitment to this particular project has seen the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, visit the sites alongside a powerful delegation.

The minister then further commended the President, Muhammadu Buhari, for being a leader who listens to the people’s cries and takes action to resolve their complaints.
The Kaduna-Kano road has been left unattended for a long time, lacking any kind of proper maintenance, and now the road is being completely reconstructed.
