An unidentified young man has been beaten to stupor by protesters in Lekki, Lagos after he was accused of touching a female protester inappropriately during protests.
This happened this morning at the Lekki tollgate where protesters gather to disrupt movement from the mainland to the island and vice versa. The young man was caught allegedly molesting a woman and in no time the protesters gathered, beat him up and sent him away from their midst before continuing with their protest.
In light of the #EndSARS protests, the youth have rallied around for the better part of today insisting on getting an executive order on the dissolution of SARS before they calm down. According to the reports, eight people have been shot in Ogbomosho, Oyo state and two in Lagos.
Recording artiste, Oxlade was also injured during the protests in Surulere and his manger has been detained by police officers with no one aware of his whereabouts. Despite all these setbacks, the citizens have refused to back down from protesting against police brutality and threaten to get louder if nothing is done
