Billionaire daughter and musician, Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy has suspended her vacation in Dubai to join in the ongoing #EndSARS protest in Lagos.
Recall that earlier in the week, the disc jockey was dragged on twitter for her silence in the face of the protests against police brutality. Cuppy eventually spoke about the End SARS situation and said she was going against all odds to say her mind. This felt performative to twitter users seeing how untimely it was causing her to be dragged.
Cuppy recently took to Instagram to give the update with a picture of her in flight and captioned it,
Dj Cuppy Joins #EndSARS protest “Finally able fly to Lagos and join the #EndSars protest.…So inspired by all the young people out there risking their lives to amplify awareness. See you soon!”
