A doctor in Kaduna state, identified as Clement Bakam has been reported dead as a result of complications from COVID-19.
Clement Bakam was the Program manager, Kaduna State Emergency Routine Immunization Coordination Centre (KadSERICC). The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Kaduna State chapter has since announced his death via a statement released by the Public Relations Officer.
The PRO said, ”On behalf of the chairman, I regret to announce the sad demise of our brother and colleague Dr Clement Bakam following complications of COVID-19′‘

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), also condoles with his family and friends, ‘‘Our condolences go to his immediate family, friends, colleagues and ARD Kaduna. May God comfort us all”
Nigeria has recorded 1,027 deaths from 54, 463 cases out of which Kaduna has recorded 2,163 cases of COVID-19 so far.
