A discharged coronavirus patient from Delta state has been speaking to journalists claiming COVID-19 is not in Nigeria. The 36-year-old female coronavirus patient is convinced that the virus in Nigeria is a scam. According to her, she did not receive any test results before being taken to the isolation centre. She spent 17 days in isolation before being discharged.

She classified her result as an audio result as she was just called on the phone and told she has the virus. She claimed that if she had the infection, her 70-year-old mother, her entire family, and her friend whom she was in close contact with should also have the virus but they do not.
According to her, if the coronavirus was to be in Nigeria, she does not think the country will be able to manage the situation. She is convinced the virus is staged and still does not believe it is in Nigeria.
However, she did not include details on if she was sick with the symptoms or any medication she received.
