Nigerian media personality Denrele Edun visited the gravesite of his late friend Susan Oluwabimpe popularly known as Goldie.
Goldie was a professional singer and a former Big Brother Africa star who died on valentines day 2013.
Denrele, True Friend ‘Goldie’
The 31-year-old ‘Don’t Touch’ crooner was reported to have died from likely hypertensive heart disease.
Since her mysterious demise, Denrele made it a habit to remember his dear friend every year on Val’s day.
Denrele shared a picture of his visit on his Instagram page, with the tag ‘9 YEARS AND STILL COUNTING!’
The singer wrote an ode in the caption that read, “You’re not here GOLDIE HARVEY, but your presence lingers in the shadows.
“You don’t see what I see, but I hear you laughing with me when I laugh. You don’t know what I feel, but I feel you, feeling for me.
“Came to visit you, as usual, dear Friend and again, I felt your presence… In that swift sweep of wind that always picks up around your Resting Place.”
Denrele also revealed that he was served “Hot Breakfast” that morning while recalling what Goldie used to tell him “People like us have so much LOVE to give but will hardly get it back!”…..
