Dele Momodu, Chieftain and former Presidential Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has just revealed what will happen to the opposition following Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State Governor’s resignation.
It would be noted that the Rivers Governor recently resigned from the party’s presidential campaign committee yesterday.
His exit, among other top planning committee members like Professor Jerry Gana, ex-Information Minister and the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, will affect the chances of the party in the 2023 General Elections.
For their actions, Dele Momodu contributed his quota to the conversation and stated that if they eventually decamp from the opposition party, it would be ‘political suicide’ for them.
He blamed the crisis in the party on reasons that the Rivers Gover failed to emerge as any prominent figure, neither as a presidential candidate nor vice.
Another issue in the party is the constant insistence that Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s national chairman, must resign as a condition for peace in the Peoples Democratic Party.
