Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has featured in the Qatar 2022 World Cup soundtrack.
The official FIFA Twitter handle revealed that the theme song titled ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’ is a multi-theme song that also featured American R&B singers Trinidad Cardona and Aisha.

Davido also took to his social media handle to announce the big news.
He wrote, “I’m honoured to be featured on the Official #FIFAWorldCup 2022 Soundtrack! See y’all later 2NITE! This one is for Africa! TULE!!!! 🤞🏾❤️ WE RISE!”
In another tweet, the 29-year-old wrote, “Pleased to have featured and worked on the official @fifaworldcup Qatar 2022 song with @redone @trinidad @aishaofcl ❤️⚽️! Naija no make am but… NAIJA STILL MAKE AM! 🇳🇬 #fifaworldcupqatar2022”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Super Eagles have failed to qualify for the World Mundial after losing the slot to Ghana on away goal difference.
