Some of the D9jaSpirit Talent Hunt contestants that should have made it to the number 1 spot reserved for DTH Season 2 winner are numerous, according to fans’ suggestions.
Though only one finalist would snatch the seven million naira prize money, there were promising talents that viewers preferred should’ve grasped the winning prize or even become 2nd or 3rd finalists.
The likes of IB Quake ‘the Poet’, even if she came in second place, many felt she should’ve won for originality’s sake.
On Twitter DTHNR Status, @mishhcre01 insisted on her tweet that IB Quake is more skilled than Ugee Royalty (the winner). “IB-Quake has got originality, that is the most important factor. Ugee Royalty can’t build a real singing career off other people’s songs.” She added.
Then there’s King Sax that plays the saxophone like never heard before. Many fans advocated for his win but ended up in 4th place.
One of the most shocking performers who should’ve nailed the whole show is the Comedian- Masterseb. Though he got 3rd position from votes cast, the argument among fans declared him the true winner.
