The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced 195 new cases for Wednesday 6th May in their daily report of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
This update reports 82 in Lagos and 30 in Kano, among other states as the country continues in it’s easing of the lockdown. 53 cases were discharged also after testing negative for the virus, 5 people also died according to the report, there are currently 2,508 active cases in the country.
The Agency made this known in a tweet;
It said, “195 new cases of #COVID19; 82-Lagos 30-Kano 19-Zamfara 18-Sokoto 10-Borno 9-FCT 8-Oyo 5-Kebbi 5-Gombe 4-Ogun 3-Katsina 1-Kaduna 1-Adamawa 3145 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 534 Deaths: 103“
