The Lagos state Ministry of Health has announced that the state has discharged nine more patients to reintegrate back into society after they tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
The ministry made this knnown in a tweet released on tuesday, pointing out that of the nine patients, five were females and four of them were males. The total number of recoveries in the state now stands at 107.
The tweet said, “9 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 5 females and 4 males including 1 foreign national – a polish have been discharged to reunite with the society. The patients; 5 from IDH, Yaba & 4 from Onikan Isolation Centre have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19 With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos is now 107.”
This comes after the commissioner of health for the state had announced two new deaths earlier on tuesday. The number of cases according to NCDC report released on Monday night has Lagos with 376 total cases, and Nigeeria with a total of 665.
