A Federal High Court in Abuja has given the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the go ahead to freeze one hundred and ninety three corporate and individual bank accounts.
The apex bank got the order pending investigations into allegations of foreign exchange infractions against holders of the said accounts.
According to the CBN, 59 separate accounts belong to Bluebeam Capital Limited, 33 bank accounts in different banks belong to Sethwealth Ventures, while 17 bank accounts belong to Seasons Bureau De Change.
Other accounts affected by the court order include Lat-Ade Logistics, Sani Polo Concept Enterprises, Saneo Global Resources, Romvic Ventures Limited and Enychristo Enterprises.

Meanwhile, some of the individual bank accounts affected belong to Nuhu Abubakar, Adenmosun Lateef Jimoh, Lateef Adenmosun, Sani Abdullahi, Ezeh Onyebuchi, Okpalaugo Ifeanyi Paul and Chinweuba Okoye Sunday.
Earlier, the CBN had announced that it got an interim order from the Federal High Court to freeze 11 bank accounts of five companies and an individual for 45 days to allow investigations into suspicious activities involving the account owners.
The account belongs to Albert Austin Ugochukwu, Belfour Energy and Allied Services, Belfour Oil and Gas Limited, Circle Flow Integrated Services, Kacynaus Reality Nigeria Limited and Tasmara Integrated Services.
