President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of tenure for the Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammed Adamu.
The Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi, who disclosed this on Thursday said three-months was added to Adamu’s tenure as the IGP.
According to the Minister, President Muhammadu Buhari approved the extension to give room for selecting a successor.

Dingyadi disclosed this in an interview with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
