Brekete Family Live team has treated the case of one Adetiba Folarin, a complainant who had a car theft issue with his friend (name withheld) involved in the crime.
Folarin, the car owner, returned to Human Rights Radio on Saturday, 16, 2021, to commend the members of the BreketeFamily for assisting in the retrieving process.
Although the car owner may not have directly recovered his vehicle, the Brekete team engaged the expertise of an intelligent senior police officer who followed the case until they achieved the desired result.
On how the car got missing in the first place was through the so-called friend of Folarin, who claimed he could market the vehicle for a reasonable price within a short while.
In trusting the fraudulent friend, the car owner submitted to the proposition and decided to wait for the sale. Meanwhile, in the process of waiting, the so-called friend sold the car and resolved to keep the money for himself.
Before the matter escalated, Folarin quickly notified the Human Rights team, who immediately alerted the police for swift and effective action.

As Folarin’s friend was arrested, he admitted selling the car and using the money for personal use and pleaded with the police that he might not be able to retrieve the car but could compensate in cash.
Folarin was reasoned with, and he accepted the offer of six hundred thousand (N600,000), even though it wasn’t near the actual cost of the vehicle.
Folarin thanked the team for the effort to retrieve his belongings in cash, praying that God would strengthen the team for more exploits.
