The BreketeFamilyLive Radio/TV Magazine Programme accommodated a complaint centring on the National Pension Commission, PenCom and its silence over the inheritance of one Dabo Dauda, the son of a late staff of the Federal Ministry of Education.
During the show on Wednesday 13, 2021, Dauda mentioned that his father died in 2009 and has since been chasing the benefits.
Sadly, according to him, twelve years have elapsed while pursuing his inheritance, and all the attempts put in place have turned out futile, including an accumulated frustration in the process.
Dauda said he had visited the Ministry of Education earlier to commence the paper procedures and has only succeeded in acquiring a document.
This document, he said, was taken to Stanbic IBTC for funds retrieval. Unfortunately, the bank informed him that they are yet to receive the money from the pension commission.
Man Assured of Getting Benefits on Brekete Family Live
On reaching PenCom, the Commission rendered no definite answer regarding the time or period Dauda would get what is due to him.
He further appealed to the Human Rights Radio Officials to assist him in getting his inheritance, as time passing by has presented nothing but complete discouragement.
The Team assured Dauda of getting his benefits. One of the core members, Elder Lambert, suggested another contact within PenCom, expressing high hopes that a favourable response would be the outcome for Dauda.
