Boko Haram has sent a new message to Nigerians over the over 300 kidnapped Kankara school boys.
The new audio message gave clarity on some issues surrounding the unfourtunate kidnapping of the school boys.
Abubakar Shekau in the recording released on Monday night said the Boko Haram sect is behind the kidnapping.
He also corrected the spreading rumour that the group has made demands for the release of the school boys.
Shekau who a captured Boko Haram suspect said is now cripple also reminded the world of the reason behind the sect’s attacks on Nigerians.
“What happened in Katsina was done to promote Islam and discourage un-Islamic practices as Western education is not the type of education permitted by Allah and his Holy Prophet.”
It would be recalled that the Boko Haram sect recently killed some farmers by beheading them Zamfara state and also took responsibility for it.
Up till now, some of the Chibok school girls kidnapped by the same insurgent group in Borno State are yet to be released.
One of the school girls is Leah Sharibu who was said to be held captive because she refused to denounce christianity as her religion.
