Uganda’s Hip Hop Star cum Politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine has raised a fresh alarm over what he described as a threat to his life after the country’s recent presidential elections.
Bobi Wine, who took part in the elections to put an end to the reign of Yoweri Museveni who has ruled the country since 1986 said heavily armed military and police have once again raided his party’s offices in Kampala.
According to him, no one was allowed to go in or come out of the house. Bobi Wine also accused President-elect, Museveni of resorting to what he tagged the most despicable forms of intimidation.
He further explained that everyone including his media and party officials was restricted from accessing him.
Bobi Wine Raises Fresh Alarm
Prior to this fresh alarm, the young politician had earlier said that the military surrounded his home and placed his wife under house arrest for four days.
Bobi Wine added that his family has run out of food supplies and that his wife was blocked and assaulted by the soldiers when she tried to pick food from the garden.
Everyevery.ng had earlier reported that many of Bobi Wine’s supporters were harassed and arrested by security operatives prior to the presidential elections in the country .
