The subtle battle in the Nigerian music industry never comes to an end. Upcoming artists are constantly struggling for relevance and recognition and most times they sustain this recognition through beefs.
Emeka popularly known as Blaqbonez one of Nigerian’s upcoming artists took to his Twitter to make a post that has gone viral. He tweeted eras that would be a casualty of his song scheduled to be released soon. This tweet seemed like a direct shade thrown at another artist, ‘Mr Money’
This tweet came not too long after Asake released a snippet of his new song with Tiwa Savage. He had formerly postponed the release of his song because the timing for the release was clashing with the release of Asake’s debut, “Mr Money with the Vibe”.
Timing is very important in the release of songs, cause the song would be dependent on the right timing to flex its durability on the charts.
Asake has been releasing top charts materials and it would seem unwise for another artist like Blaqbonez to release at that same time, but he has already postponed once and is unwilling to do so again.
His threat has gotten a lot of funny Twitter responses, fans are certain if both songs are released on the same day, his own would be the one to crawl on the charts, yet one cannot be fully sure since it is not known what backs his confidence.
