The billionaire owner of Tahir Guest Hotel in Kano State, Tahir Fadlallah, has reportedly passed on due to the COVID-19 complications, after contracting the disease since 2020.
On Friday, his death was confirmed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media & Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Alh. Garba Shehu, through his Instagram page.
However, it has not been a hundred percent (100%) affirmed that he died of the coronavirus pandemic, but it was recalled that since he was infected in 2020, no re report surfaced that he completely recovered from the impact of the virus on his system.
According to the statement by the Senior Special Assistant, on Media and Publicity to the President, it read that, “We have lost Tahir. May Allah grants him Aljannah,” Shehu wrote on Twitter, posting a picture of himself and Tahir.
“The above picture was taken shortly after they released him from hospital after months of treatment in Beirut.” The statement had disclosed.
He described the death of the hotelier as shocking and prayed to Allah to grant him Aljannatil Fiddaus and his family to bear the irreparable loss.
The details about his condition two years ago is that the billionaire was flown to Beirut, Lebanon for treatment in an air ambulance in May 2020 after he tested positive for Covid-19 in Nigeria.
