Two former Delta state governors, James Ibori and Emmanuel Uduaghan have been linked to some of the projects executed by the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
This was contained in a letter sent to the speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Other beneficiaries mentioned by Akpabio in the list were the former Abia state governor and Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.
PUNCH reported that the projects linked to James Ibori were the emergency repairs of Onoghove community road from Ajanesan to Western Delta University at a cost of N485.7m.
Meanwhile, Uduaghan was linked to the emergency repairs of Close B, Alhaji Estate & Environs, Rumuodomaya, Port Harcourt at a cost of N429m.
