BBTitans Kanaga Jnr is the latest guest on Coffee with Khosi. The new budding show premiered in Biggie’s house. The show seems to be peaking waves, curating its fanbase.
One of the housemates to indulge Khosi’s idea was Kanaga Jnr. The young Nigerian lad discussed in length with the host about different subjects. He spoke about his budding relationship with Tsatsii. However, one of the conversations that stood out was his perceptions of Nigerians.
Khosi asked him; what his perception of South African women was before coming to Biggie’s house. The champ, who revealed he had not been to South Africa before, shocked fans with his revelation. He expressed that he heard about their banging bodies and fierce attributes.
Things took a turn when he revealed, “I also heard not just females but males; everyone is out here spreading infections and stuff”. This seemed to cause an uproar on social media among fans who found the comment derogatory.
Though the comment is hard to swallow, some South African fans corroborated his claims.
Regardless of one’s perceptions of his statements, we would do well to remember these were initial speculations. He later revealed that now he loved South Africans upon living with them. “I don’t even want to patronize you but the South Africans I’ve lived with in this house, I love so much. I admired how we lived in peace”.
We are elated that the show seems to tackle xenophobia swiftly and admirably.
