Ex-Big Brother housemate, Tuoyo Ideh has taken to his social media page to reveal the lie he told during his time on the reality show.
Tuoyo participated in the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show tagged ‘Pepper Dem’. He made fans believe he was a ‘part-time stripper‘ and he lived up to the profession with his stripper performances during the show’s Friday nigh parties before he was eventually evicted.
He has now come out to confess that it was a lie and that he was never a stripper. He said he has to do this to save his future and mental health.
Tuoyo Confesses Not Been A Stripper
His post on Instagram reads, ‘‘For over a year now I’ve been living a lie. Some people have advised me to go on with it but I fear for my mental health and my future so I’ve chosen to come out”
‘‘Big brother was my biggest shot at fame and nothing in the world could have stopped me from grabbing it with both hands but somehow I felt like I wasn’t enough and I needed to do more and BE more in order to stay relevant and to get some extra clout.’‘
Tuoyo explained that he was desperate and had to attach the tag ”I’m a stripper” to himself. According to him, he got the hype but was unsustainable and couldn’t live up to it because that’s not him even though he has the body to become one.
”I could keep living the lie to make it become truth but the more I did, the more I regretted. I wasn’t deriving any pleasure and in fact I felt like I was making a fool of myself so I had to stop’‘
The ex-Big Brother housemate then pleaded for forgiveness, he wrote ”I’m here to say I’m sorry I lied, no one is perfect, my ultimate strategy has turned back to hurt my reputation and my brand”
”My name is Tuoyo Ideh AND I AM NOT A STRIPPER. You’ll be meeting the REAL me very soon. Cheers to a new beginning!!” he concluded.
