The most anticipated episode of the BBNaija Reunion show has finally happened. Last night, the anticipated episode aired, finally, centring on Beauty Tukura.
The beef between Beauty and Phyna was finally addressed. Ironically, Phyna was quiet this time around. Phyna had a lot to say when tackling issues with Groovy and Chichi. However, she became a woman of few words when dissecting the root cause of the fight between herself and Beauty.
When asked about her relationship with Beauty, Phyna maintained that they were roommates and not ‘friend friends’. She explained that Amaka was her only friend.
Well, Amaka, her friend was also revealed to be betrayed by Phyna over Groovy. Their issues were also tabled on the reunion show. The irony of being the only friend yet even that friendship ends tragically.
Beauty on the other hand maintained that she regarded Phyna as a friend. “I cared about her”, Ms Tukura revealed.
Ebuka asked her why she snubbed Phyna at the party since she revealed her bone of contention with the winner had nothing to do with Groovy. “I would be a witch’, she explained why she could not hate Phyna for her relationship with Groovy.
She revealed she had moved on. However, she saw a clip of Phyna telling her to go and die. “Over a man”, Beauty exclaimed. She felt nothing should prompt such words, especially a man.
She also revealed that Phyna said so many nasty things while she left and nothing good. She asked fellow housemates what they would have done if they were in her shoes. It was the reason for snubbing her as revealed by Beauty.
Phyna addressed the accusations. She explained that she was mad at her for accusing her of being interested in Groovy while they were together. Beauty interjected, revealing she never did but Sir Kess was the one who summarized the conversation like that so she would understand better.
Phyna maintained that “go and die” was just pidgin and did not mean anything. When Ebuka prompted her, to perhaps apologise, she did not.
