In the latest episode of the BBNaija reunion show, aired on Friday, Emmanuel has denied cheating on his estranged lover Liquorose, as he sheds more light on the incident.
Liquorose accused her 24-year-old lover of having a sexual relationship with another woman during their trip to Dubai, on the only night she did not sleep in his room.
Giving a detailed view of the event, Liquorose said, “The light was off, the music was playing, the bed was rough, and the girl was sitting at the edge, and she covered her face with a face mask, on the only night I didn’t sleep in the room with you.”
In his defence, Emmanuel stated that nothing happened between him and the girl, whom he revealed was an old friend.
The fashion model revealed he met the girl on one of his earlier trips to the Emirates, and meeting again, the girl wanted to catch up in his room.
Emmanuel said, “Meeting a friend after a long time should not be a problem. She came around early hours and I was like, this is quite early. She said, ‘I was out late and since I stayed around, I wanted to stop by.”
He further revealed they laid down on the bed and chatted till he slept off before Liquorose came knocking.
Emmanuel, weary of how awkward the situation might be for his 27-year-old lover, opted to ignore the knock on his door.
“At that point, I said I should just open and she’d understand that nothing happened because nothing went down,” he stated.
