BBnaija Mike Edwards shares how he lost his older brother at a tender age
BBNaija ‘PepperDem’ first runner up, Mike Edwards shared a sad tale of how his older brother would be alive today if Nigeria had better healthcare.
The father of one and entrepreneur shared this personal story on his instagram earlier today. Mike said his older brother, Matthew would have been her with him if he had been adequately treated when he had a sickle cell crisis at age 10.
The reality Tv star said this in relation to the Nigerian people’s #EndSARS protests which he said was a kickback from years of bad governance and corruption .
Sharing a throwback picture of him and his siblings including late Matthew, Mike wrote ,
“My older brother Matthew lost his life during a sickle cell crisis in Nigeria when he was 10 years old.To think if he would have been in a country with better healthcare support that his life would be saved today is heartbreaking. The fight to End SARS is our cry for help after years of corruption and bad governance. #EndSARS #HealingNigeria”
This revelation had an outpour of condolences for his loss.
