Artist, actor, model and BBNaija 2018 contestant, Rico Suavey, has come out to share his past experience with men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).
Briefly sharing his story on Twitter, Rico Suavey said that the painful incident happened in July 2019 as he and his PA, whom he called Mulla, were on their way back from a movie set. According to him, his PA was worse off as he was badly beaten to the extent that he bled from his eyes. Rico then said that his PA died months later in his sleep.
Rico shared this story amidst the brewing agitation of Nigerian youths who have taken to the streets over the past week to register their displeasure with the terrible rate of brutality and disregard for citizens` rights by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
This adds to the growing number of experiences shared by many people, including certain celebrities and public figures, about their encounters with SARS officers and other men of the Police Force. The peaceful #EndSARS protests have been running for about a week in various cities of the country like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt among others.
