In a bid to expand popularity people tend to fall victim to scams, especially people that are already well-to-do. A lady has come to Instagram with a serious allegation against Eric Akhigbe popularly known as Eric.
The lady identified by her username as @babyc.worldiwde shared her grievance against being duped by Eric. According to her, she messaged him to inquire about getting a spot in season 7 of BBNaija.
He redirected her to someone he referred to as a multichoice staff. She was told by this person that to gain a spot among the Level Up housemates, she had to pay a certain amount of money.
The sum of 5.3million naira was required. From the conversation and payment receipts she posted, the whole happening was situated around February and March. She made installation payments thrice which amounted to the sum that was requested.
To her disappointment, she was not given a spot and neither was her money refunded. She texted Eric and that seemed not to yield a result. According to her, he used the money she paid to relocate to the U.S.
She has shared this whole transaction with the public seeking to drag both Eric and the fake Multichoice agent for duping her. No one has denied or admitted to her claims.
