The budding relationship between BBNaija 2020 housemates, Erica and Kiddwaya is hitting Laycon the wrong way.
BBNaija 2020 housemate, Laycon has told everyone who cares to listen that he likes Erica. Initially, he expressed his feelings by spending time with Erica, helping her out with chores and making her smile whenever possible. Although Erica fell into the arms of another male housemate – Kiddwaya, Laycon did not give up.
Last week, loverboy Laycon confided in Brighto, the chief instigator. Brighto encouraged him to tell Erica how he felt and he did. On Saturday night after the party, Laycon called Erica aside and bared his heart to her. He told her about his feelings for her and asked about the dynamics of her relationship with Kiddwaya. Erica maintained that she had nothing serious with Kiddwaya and they were just having fun and joking around in the BBNaija 2020 house. It doesn’t look that way, ma’am.
Frustrated about being left in limbo, Laycon also spoke to his good friend in the house, Kaisha. They had a conversation about his feelings for Erica and the flirty situation between Erica and Kiddwaya while preparing for a task.
Laycon divulged that when he spoke to Erica about his feelings for her she said she wasn’t ready for a relationship yet, her focus was on her career for now. In response to this Kaisha said,
‘ that means that she is playing both you are Kiddwaya and she is doing it for internet purposes’
He told Kaisha how awkward he felt about the looming love triangle and Kaisha was blunt with him. She told Laycon that Erica was just playing both him and Kiddwaya for internet content since she said her career was her main focus.
Laycon went on to say that even though he said he liked her, he didn’t ask her for a relationship but still felt awkward whenever he saw Erica and Kiddwaya together. His adviser, Kaisha said it was expected that he would feel awkward but he should make an attempt to remind her of his feelings and have her make a clear decision between him(Laycon) and Kiddwaya. She further advised that if she doesn’t come out straight with him then there was no need pursuing it further.
Kaisha must have said something triggering to Laycon because a few minutes after listening to her two cents, he resolved not to talk to Erica about his feelings anymore. He said it was ‘disrespectful’ for her not to give a definite response to his emotional quest but continue to frolic with Kiddwaya while fully aware of his feelings for her. From how convincing he sounded, it was obvious that he was done with Erica and Kiddwaya.
