Erica Nlewedim, the disqualified BBNaija 2020 lockdown housemate has counted her blessings and the lessons she has been able to identify after her unfortunate exit from the reality TV show weeks ago.
During a recent interview with Ovation magazine, Erica was able to bring out some positive things out of her ordeal as the only disqualified housemate from the season 5 of the BBNaija 2020 house.
According to her, she has learned that it is wiser to use her head more than her heart and swinging towards her emotions. According to her, an emotional rush could be a bad thing if not well handled.
” I also learnt not to be too emotional but rather use my head more than my heart.”
Erica did not forget to express that her disqualification taught her not to trust people, because her experience in the house exposed the fact that the people whom she had their back did not have time for her.
“The experience also taught me how to be more comfortable with myself and not look for happiness in others.”
“I know I let my emotions get the better part of me and am also working on that too.”
The Nigerian actress also stressed that she is really happy for her disqualification and the experiences that followed it. For her, if she was not disqualified, she might not be able to learn that she needs to start being independent and that being by herself could be enough for her to be good.
Erica got disqualified from the BBNaija lockdown house, after she was found guilty of offences like bullying, denying a fellow housemate access to common property, defacing Biggie’s property among others.
