Former Big Brother Naija housemate Adekunle has taken to Twitter to cry out over his phone which was stolen by a fan that asked him for a photo. The TV star said the phone which was stolen around 2 am at an event at Landmark Beach, has already been moved towards Arolaya, the gadget-selling area of Lagos Island.
Adekunle reiterated that the phone which is being tracked is now useless to the thief as it has been placed on lost mode. According to him, he said: ” Hi guys. So my phone got stolen around 2 am at an event at Landmark Beach. A thief pretending to be a fan asked for pictures, hugged me, played a fast one on me and disappeared into the crowd. As of 6 am this morning, the first known location of the phone was at Bamgbose Street.”
“Further probe showed that the phone was then moved towards Arolaya, the gadget-selling area of Lagos Island. Currently, the phone is being tracked and on Lost Mode. Almost useless to the thief. It’s a black iPhone and my picture is the wallpaper.” “If you’re around Lagos Island, and/or you have any information about how to get the phone back or if you can help in any way, it will be highly appreciated.”
This is not the first time the Adekunle is suffering such, the first time was when his account was hacked and follow housemate Chomzy had to come online to cry out saying “on no, not my Adekunle.” Many of his fans have taken to Twitter to console him, some said this is the reason why celebs don’t like taking pictures with fans as he said sorry and hoped he finds it.
Another person tweeted- “Oh my God, So sorry you went through this. What are the chances of you getting it back though?
