Senegal and former Liverpool star Sadio Mane has completed a £35m move to Bayern Munich. He signed a three-year contract with the club. The Reds will receive 32m euros (£27.4m) with an extra 6m euros based on appearances. They will also receive an extra 3m euros for individual and team achievements.

Liverpool turned down two bids accepting a bid from the German side. Sadio Mane speaking on his arrival said: “This is the right time for this challenge.” The 30-year-old also said: “I felt the great interest of this big club from the start so there was no doubt in my mind.” Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in June 2016. Mane scored 120 goals in his 269 appearance for Liverpool. finishing last season with 23 goals in all competitions.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer praised the African on his arrival. He Mane said: “Sadio Mane is a world star who underscores the appeal of FC Bayern and increases the attractiveness of the entire Bundesliga.” “It is for such unique footballers that the fans come to the stadiums.”
Liverpool have already signed a replacement for the new Bayern Munich player. They signed Nunez who will now work with Jota and Diaz.
