Nigerian award-winning singer, Barry Jhay has found himself in a messy situation after the death of his record label boss.
Cash Nation record label boss, Babatunde Oyerinde Abidoun aka Kashy was reported dead after he allegedly committed suicide in the early hours of Sunday, March 7, by jumping from his house balcony.
Although details of his death is sketchy, hours before his death, Kashy was reported to have a fight with his label’s frontline artist, Barry Jhay.

The Headies award-winning singer confirmed the fight as he shared a video of his swollen face and bloody mouth. He also stated that he was only recording when the record label boss pounced on him.
According to reports, Barry Jhay has now been arrested in Ghana by police in connection to Kashy’s death.
Although it is widely reported that the record label boss committed suicide over depression, some of his associates which include his brother has debunked the rumour.
In a social media post, Kashy’s brother called out Barry. He stated that the Cash Nation gave him everything, threatening that Barry is dead for what happened.

Meanwhile, Barry Jhay, who is a son of late fuji icon, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, has reacted to the boss’ death.
He wrote, “Kashyyy Whyyyy” with crying emojis.
